LANCASTER UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT SCHOOL

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) - ranked by the Financial Times in the world's top fifty - has 150 members of academic faculty, including more than 40 professors, covering the full range of management subjects.

It is ranked 5th in the UK for research. The Higher Education Funding Council for England marks Lancaster out as a centre of world class research in business and management.
3,498 students attend the school. In 2008/09, there were over 3100 undergraduates including 926 international students.
In the latest global ranking of the world's leading full-time MBA programmes, published by the Financial Times in January 2009, the Lancaster MBA is ranked 27th in the world.
LUMS has one of the largest and best-supported Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) recognised doctoral programmes in the UK, with academic research undertaken in all areas of business and management.
